Shift Details:
Flexible Hours during 2nd shift (1:00pm-8:30pm)
Days available: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - must commit to work one of these days a week.
Part Time, up to 29 hours per week
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Picking medical supplies for customers' orders
Packing and staging product for shipment
Pulling products from overstock to replenish inventory
Operating forklifts, reach trucks and cherry pickers as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to consistently lift up to 50Ibs.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Comfortable working at heights of 20-30ft. consistently
Strong communication skills
1-2 year's experience preferred
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
