What Field Sales Administration/Operations Generalist contributes to Cardinal Health

Sales Administration/Operations is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, business metrics/analytics, and rewards architecture.

The Sr. Analyst, Sales Enablement and Operations Management, is responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence (includes: data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting); and, for identifying, creating and implementing processes that profitize, optimize and support the entire field sales organization (includes: customer contract implementation, contract compliance, strategic field sales resource deployment, on-boarding and basic training) to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization, drive operational excellence and maximize contract value.
 

Responsibilities

Responsible for ownership of the self-service platforms (SharePoint, GMB) that support sales teams, customer service, operations, and other functional team stakeholdersWorks with cross functional teams to ensure smooth operations for internal and external customers teamsUnderstand how to identify barriers and resolveResearching operational issues that may arise from day-to-day activitiesAd-Hoc reporting including but not limited to sales, contracts, products and shipping informationReport maintenance and automationMaintain and update program materials as neededProcess streamlining and optimizationProvide sales teams training on program and associated systemsExecute on sales team requests

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferredMinimum 2 years general business experience preferredExcellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written and verbal communicationAbility to learn quickly and adjust to changing business needsAbility to be flexible and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills requiredResourceful and motivated self-starterDemonstrated ability to work cross functionally on projectsProven ability to meet deadlines, follow-through on details, provide input & feedback to the team.Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft ExcelAbility to travel up to 5% of the time
