What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for identifying, tracking, and resolving customer pain points and, for facilitating, developing, designing, and implementing processes that improve overall customer experience. Act as customer advocate and liaison back into Cardinal Health organization with teams such as Sales, Customer Service, Inventory, Pricing, Operations, Credit & Collections.

Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasksWorks on projects of moderate scope and complexityIdentifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolveApplies judgment within defined parametersReceives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projectsWork reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Accountabilities  

Oversee assigned Medical Products and Distribution customer(s) as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needsBridge relationships between the customer and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless serviceManage customer expectations and requirements through proactive account review, facilitating issue resolution, and keeping customer informed of key initiativesPrevent order disruption to customer through activities such as: elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversionsTrack, measure, and report key performance indicators monthlyBuild and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the account

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience2-4 years professional experience; direct customer facing experience preferredStrong communication skillsStrong command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentHighly motivated, creative, able to operate effectively within a teamTravel expected to be infrequent as deemed necessary

A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:

Anticipated salary range: $49,000 - $74,200Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Health insurance, 401k Contributions, Paid Time Off, Vacation, STD/LTD
