What Real Estate Development contributes to Cardinal Health
Facilities & Real Estate plans and directs facility maintenance and food services as well as real estate activities including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and property development.

Real Estate Development develops concepts and designs for company facilities and manages property development projects within cost, time and quality requirements and constraints. This job family liaises closely with contractors, architects, and consultants during each phase of the project.

Job Summary

The Sr. Project Manager, Property Loss Prevention & Control acts as a property loss control engineering position which focuses on the management of the following:

Building fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, alarms, special hazards) for existing and new construction.New property risk identification and mitigation including standards development and training for site personnel.  Property insurance carriers engineering program.Project management of property risk mitigation projects.

Responsibilities

Management of property loss control risks as they relate to the property insurance program: Management of the FM Global inspection program.Management of site property loss control pre-surveys.Management of new property risks as a result of changes in NFPA codes or FM Datasheets.Works with Cardinal Health business units and business leaders to develop real estate projects that support their respective business functions.Understands the business function and conceiving a facility that accommodates this function including corporate office, warehouses, pharmaceutical/medical products manufacturing and laboratories.Leads multifunctional teams of stakeholders and contributors to deliver large complex projects on time and under budget. Works with internal customers to establish project requirements, schedule and budget. Pro-actively builds and maintains relationships with business leaders and independently interacts with outside facility partners and real estate providers.Management of Corporate fire systems programs (fire alarms, extinguishers, etc.)Fire protection/alarm systems: ReviewCommissioningSite AuditsFire Protection Standards Development and Implementation: LI Battery, Tracking SystemAutomationCritical Supplier Property Risk ReviewHPR (Highly Protected Risk)/NonHPR ReviewsCarrier Recommendation Review/Follow Up.Flood Site Review – FEMAManagement of Change

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field, preferred4+ years of related experience, preferredFM or HPR Experience and training, requiredWorking knowledge of NFPA codes with a focus on 13, 72 and FM Datasheets Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Power PointArticulate presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication at all levelsSelf-motivated and able to work independently and in team environmentsAbility to influence others and drive change management across the organizationAdvanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team to solve complex issues with innovative solutionsWilling and able to travel approximately 50% to facilities and jobsites

Anticipated salary range: $85,100-$127,680
