We currently have a career opening for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Purple Team within our Cyber Threat and Response department.
What is expected of you in this role?
Investigate and resolves security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security Test key threat scenarios against business technologies using adversarial attack tools, tactics and techniques. Integrate threat intelligence, offensive, and defensive cyber security solutions Develop and maintain a testing platform and methodology to track and monitor cyber security improvements Develop and maintain a testing platform and methodology to continuously monitor current incident response capabilities Work alongside the offensive security, threat intel and incident response teams and blue teams, analyze how they work together and recommending adjustments Develop metrics around adversarial engagements Lead cyber wargaming efforts and applying results to build stronger cyber defenses Drive the execution of significant purple team engagements Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning, and engagement Apply comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects related to incident response
Required Qualifications
Experience in a technical role in the areas of Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, Purple Teaming, Threat Hunting or Incident Response
Familiarity with threat intelligence, offensive, and defensive cyber security concepts
Familiarity with Security Event and Incident Management systems
Strong understanding of networking and network security appliances
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate technical details in a clear and understandable manner
Preferred Qualifications
Strongly preferred 6+ years' experience in specific domains of information security Offensive Security Certifications (OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, or C|EH) Familiarity with the MITRE frameworks Possess experience with SIEM technologies Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate technical details in a clear and understandable manner
Anticipated salary range: $119,800 - $171,100
