What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Qualifications
Other MHE and RF scanner experience preferredPrevious order picker / cherry picker, forklift experienceComfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly Frequently lift up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, reach, stooping, lift and stand for entire shiftSome college, plusProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood written and verbal communication skills2-5 years of relatable DC/ Warehouse experience preferredMust be able to work overtime with little to no advance noticeMust be self- motivated and organizedAbility to make sound decisions to protect the fiscal assets of the businessHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredSome College preferredProficient in Microsoft office
Responsibilities
Focusing on the receipt and balancing of inbound materials from PO physical receiptUsing multiple systems in efforts to research and resolve inventory discrepancies, proper handling in the receipt, billing and debiting of materialsIdentifying and handling and FCA impacted product in support of servicing customersWilling to aid and support department in various assigned tasksAccepting and executing any other requirements made by the facility management teamWhat is expected of you and others at this level
Applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasksDemonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilitymaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issuesMay assist in recommendation of processes on new assignmentsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with limited supervision.
