What Inventory Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

The main function of the Reconciler position is to review, research and resolve Inventory Integrity issues. This is accomplished using WMS generated real time dashboards, reports and both internal and external customer feedback.

Specific duties

• Resolve item replenishment issues

• Research and resolve all partially DC allocated orders

• Review and resolve pre-wave dashboard

• Review and report re-pick items, cycle count and correct Inventory

• Responsible for unlocated iLPN process (damages, lost inventory, transitional, short dated, unsaleable)

• Collaborate with Profiler on re-pick issues (suspended totes)

• The Reconciler is responsible for research and resolution of all locked iLPN Item inventory and locations (LC – lost in cycle count, IH – inventory hold, PP- pending put away)

• Identify item attribute issues (DIMs, case size, weight)

• Resolve all transitional inventory (locked inventory)

• All scheduled WMS dashboards completed

• Report outstanding issues to Inbound Reconciler Skill sets required

• Recognize, report and document system anomalies (including IT tickets)

• Strong analytical mindset

• Root cause problem solver

• Time management/Prioritization skills

• Strong system knowledge/technical aptitude/navigation between systems, good system judgement (WMS, SAP, MS office, Salesforce)

• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams

• Strong focus during number intense activity

• Excellent short-term memory with numbers


HS Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent work experience preferred

3+ years experience in related field


Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments

In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area

Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently

May modify process to resolve situations

Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments

May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
