Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

The Senior Analyst FP&A will be the key business partner and an integral part of FP&A team. This role will be highly visible to senior leadership and work closely with Regional Finance Lead and International team as we play a vital role in helping to guide strategic decisions for the enterprise. This is a hybrid role reporting on-site twice a week at our Vaughan location.

Your Contributions to the Organization:  

Core Responsibilities

Assist FP&A leader in consolidation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles

Work closely with other FP&A team members and cross-functional teams on analyzing SG&A trends and use the findings in adjusting the budget/forecast

Prepare the management reporting, MFR and corporate deliverables for ME at a national level

Assist FP&A leader in developing regional month-end package

Prepare and ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of management reporting

Develop and maintain applicable scorecards for the enterprise

Partner closely with Commercial and Operations FP&A BP to bring visibility to the overall performance of the business at a national level

Partner and work closely with Genpact FP&A as an extension of our team and leverage efficiencies respectively 

Partner with Support Function CLT leaders across the business through creating monthly financial performance and own building budget for such functional areas

Back up on supporting commercial SFA on financial review of all major RFP tenders prior to submission, including profitability and any potential exposure to the business.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training and development

Liaison with Cardinal Corporate headquarters

Analysis/ Adhoc as required

What is expected of you and others at this level?

Extremely detail oriented and able to work with time-sensitive and confidential information

Work very closely with Finance Leadership Team, Corporate FP&A Leaders

Strong presentation skill to deliver key messages in a summarized fashion

Ability to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic fast paced environment

Qualifications: 

Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Management reporting (3+ years)

CPA with 3+ years of post-designation experience in industry

A keen interest and passion for the healthcare sector

Business partnership experience is an asset

Hands on experience with Tableau and Microsoft suit, SAP experience is an asset

Industry and market knowledge - Learning the external environment in which the business operates (i.e. our competitors, emerging trends, products, threats and opportunities)

Continuous improvement mindset – strong project management skills

Strong communication and influencing skills

Experience supporting business unit leaders in sales and marketing

Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail with the ability to interact

Advance level proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with data warehouses
