What Account Management - Dist contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.

OptiFreight™ Logistics is the leading provider of Inbound, Outbound, and Less than Truckload (LTL) Shipping and freight management services for the Healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate can reside in any Western State; Texas or Utah preferred.

Job Description

The Region Manager leads a team of Territory Consultants who own customer portfolios for the Central Mountain area.

Accountabilities

The OptiFreight Logistics Region Manager – Central Mountain leads our Account Management team, driving successful outcomes for our customers, our team, and our businessCarries out strategic directives to deliver on customer experience and revenue goals.Managing four Account Managers supporting a territory of Acute customersKey MBOs include financial/volume-based (SIP), operational, and VOE metricsCandidates need strong leadership capability, demonstrated sales success, results-orientation, strategic thinking, planning, and execution, analytical abilities, and excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience3-6 years healthcare, carrier, and/or solutions-based sales experience, preferredLeadership experience preferredAbility to travel up to 50%Analytical experience preferredStrong planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skillsValid driver's licenseA Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either: 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
