Product Experience Design Lead, Navista

Cardinal Health is looking for a versatile product designer, mentor, and leader who is excited to craft digital products and services that help real people while supporting your colleagues as a coveted member of the Product Experience organization.
As a Product Experience Design Lead, you will define, lead, and implement the user experience across the Navista Network and Provider Prior Authorization digital product portfolio.
About the business you will support:
The Navista Network is an advanced suite of technology solutions to help community oncologists improve outcomes and costs associated with patient treatment as they transition to value-based care. You will work on multiple high-quality connected, point-of-service technology solutions that help oncology practices improve patient care, reduce administrative burden, and maximize financial performance.
The Provider Prior Authorization Solutions minimize denials and delays, start timely treatment and keep patients on therapy with a single cloud-based portal. Your work here will contribute to the efforts of simplifying the prior authorization by consolidating medical benefits investigation and prior authorization approvals in one place.

Responsibilities:
Engage as a player/coach, equally providing strategic leadership and delivering tactical research/design.
Guide product teams to deeply understand customer/user behavior, pain points, and needs.
Articulate experience challenges and opportunities for your product and in healthcare more broadly.
Relentlessly consider the whole system and each detail from the user’s perspective.
Prioritize what adds the most value for our users/customers and our business.
Clearly identify and test your hypotheses and assumptions.
Determine both quantitative and qualitative insights and translate them into actionable design tasks.
Create detailed user flows and sophisticated low/high-fidelity prototypes for understanding and validation.
Explain your (and your team’s) design rationale to non-designers and build a shared understanding of the vision, solutions, and intended outcomes.
Model a human-centered approach on your team and partners to deliver better products and strengthen our competitive advantage.
Provide thought leadership and creative direction to designers and researchers.
Build and nurture relationships with cross-functional leaders, their teams, and business stakeholders.
Demonstrate qualities of transparency, trust, vulnerability, psychological safety, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
7-10 years’ experience designing digital products and/or services utilizing a human-centered approach is preferred.
A clear grasp of experience design best practices for digital and real-world touchpoints.
IA, journey mapping, blueprinting, and interaction design chops and proficiency with relevant tools.
Repeated experience planning/facilitating/analyzing research, service prototyping, and usability testing.
Exceptional visual, verbal, and written communication skills in service of impactful storytelling.
Comfort leading and designing within a modern product/service design lifecycle.
Ability to guide team members and stakeholders through a design thinking mindset.
A drive for simplifying complex problems and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
3+ years designing in healthcare for relevant segments — e.g. consumer, pharmacy, health plans, etc. is preferred.
BS/MS degree in human factors, design, psychology, sociology, or relevant experience is preferred.
Experience designing in healthcare and/or logistics is preferred.
A conversant understanding of strategy, operations, and technology behind healthcare businesses is preferred.

Anticipated salary range: $102,000 - $152,985
