What Manufacturing Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes.
Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for developing manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and associated tools. Reviews new designs for manufacturability. Designs process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle time and improved product quality.

What is expected of you and others at this level
Experience in Machine Controls Design, PLC programming and Motion Control a plus.Able to read and understand Electrical Schematics and panel layouts.Ability to diagnose, and fix mechanical, electrical and software related issues.Able to read and decipher programming by other engineers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work with vendors and customers.Able to work with minimal supervision.Proficient with Windows, and Microsoft Office applications.AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.Mechanical aptitude.Detail oriented.Able to adjust to changing specifications and schedules.Provides TrainingMay contribute to the development of policies and procedures.May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.Completes work independently; receives general guidance on new projects.Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
