What Clinical Operations Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Clinical Operations function.

Qualifications

Undergrad preferred or equivalent work experienceMust be registered pharmacist in Texas. Other states preferred as wellPrevious management experience a plus2-6 years of experience in related fieldMust provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphteria/Pertussis

Accountabilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all  clients, patients, clinicians and members of the pharmacy  staffFill new prescriptions and refills of medications using various forms of compliance packaging.Medication ordering and maintenance of appropriate inventory controls within the pharmacy.Within the guidelines of the authorized protocol, manage the inventory levels of patient assistance program medications for clientsAs primary contact between the pharmacy and the client, maintain excellent relations with the client staffProvide drug consultation servicesSupervise and coordinate the activities of the pharmacy technicians and other support employees and assume responsibility for other duties related to personnel.Maintain an environment that meets regulatory requirementsManage rejected claims, conduct gross margin analysis and generate reports for management.Participate in company committee and staff meetings
