About the program:
The OutcomesMTM Clinical Services Residency is a post-graduate program offering experience in MTM program administration. The resident will learn how pharmacists can impact the quality and rising cost of healthcare by providing patient-oriented medication therapy management (MTM) services.
During the one-year program, the resident will gain experience in the following areas:
Clinical protocol development
MTM benefit design
Network training and support
Sales and marketing
Applicants should be confident self-starters with excellent communication skills and a passion for MTM.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy OR graduating in spring 2022 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College.
Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Iowa
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Must be able to work autonomously as well as part of an integrated team
A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
Duration of position
June 2022 - June 2023
The position is based in West Des Moines, Iowa with some travel required.
Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM CST with occasional evening, early morning and/or weekend hours.
