Hours: Sunday-Thursday 7:00p-UTC(Flexibility needed)
Anticipated salary range: $95,000 - 125,000 USD annually
Bonus eligible: Yes(10% Annual)

What Operations Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Accountabilities in this role
Manages staff to ensure timely distribution and receipt of product while meeting distribution center standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality.Monitors warehouse productivity, adheres to budget requirements, works towards obtaining distribution center programs and coordinating all necessary repairs. Recommends and implements programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficient space utilization within the facility.Implements and administers all policies and procedures.Ensures quality service is provided to the customers, ensures prompt follow-through on customer correspondence related to shipment of merchandise and stock-on-hand.Handles general employee inquiries and resolves concerns.Responsible for supervisory and employee population development, training, coaching, counseling and performance appraisals.Maintains positive employee relations.Must be flexible with work schedule to be a visible leader and maximize employee interactions for a multi shift distribution operation.Manages professional employees and supervisors; manages business support, technical and production staffHas accountability for managing financial resources and inventory levels in excess of $230M.Provides technical guidance to employeesDevelops processes and procedures to implement functional strategiesHas in-depth expertise in own job family and knowledge of the related job familiesApplies expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to employees in own areaQualifications
Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Lean Six Sigma (LSS) experience highly preferred. 3-5 years experience3+ supervisory/management skills preferredStrong communication skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office productsWhat is expected of you and others at this level
