Shift Details: Monday-Friday 4:00pm – 12:00am. *Required Overtime will be mandatory. Up to 4 hours daily depending on company needs. Weekend production will be required on a needed basis.

Pay: Experienced based pay

Bonus: $1000 sign on bonus (Total)

What Product Test & Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of safety, quality and productivity on designated equipment. Directs activities of other team members.

Responsibilities

Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed.  Responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.Coordinate and complete Preventive Maintenance activities within the PM schedule on designated equipmentHelp complete JSA’s and training documents as needed.Work with Supervisors to schedule appropriate people at the line and fill in for those scheduling vacation requests.Coordinate and prioritize tasks for the teamWill order all material necessary to manufacture and package the appropriate productMust maintain the proper levels of hotmelt, polymer and fragrance as applicable to the machine.Will update BPCS with production and downtime data as requiredWill be required to conduct inspections such as unlabeled containers and guarding, quality controls, cycle counts, etc.Ability to troubleshoot high-speed equipment which requires a logical cause and an effective approach.Involved in machine modifications as required by the department.Must be able to train and assist in team member development.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferredAssociates Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology preferred4+ years of industrial experience as a Maintenance Mechanic preferred
