What WaveMark Inventory Management Sr Specialist contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is responsible for the daily ordering and replenishment of our customer’s RFID tracked medical supplies within the acute and non-acute setting. This role provides inventory management expertise designed to support an organization’s need to right-size inventory, improve efficiencies, streamline processes and effect change management at the clinical department level, with a heavy focus on the OR Department, but may occasionally work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology Lab.
The Inventory Management Sr Specialist is a customer-facing role acting as a liaison, providing product information, and resolving any emerging problems that the customer account might face with accuracy and efficiency. There is a need to communicate clearly and to be an analytical person with confidence in troubleshooting. In addition, this role is responsible for organizing and leading solution daily compliance and reinforcing best practice recommendations. Supporting project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer.

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm
Responsibilities
Daily tracking and reconciling missing inventory.Identify, find, pull, and disposition expiring and recalled product.Ensure and maintain compliance with product usage.Assist with tagging/registration for RFID tagged products.Assist in ordering and product replenishment.Process on demand requests.Manage customer relationships.Keep inventory organized, labeled, rotated.Daily Hardware Check (Cabinets, MOC’s).Analyze WaveMark Dashboard and provide recommendation for action.Right-sizing inventory (including consolidating, PAR level review, and SKU rationalization).Define and assist in executing projects.Attend Team calls virtually and in person.Manage an expense count.Point of use location management and upkeep.Qualifications
High school diploma, associates, or Bachelors preferred.2-5 years experience in inventory management, healthcare, or project management preferredStrong verbal & written communication skills are essentialComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills highly preferred.Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations).
