What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Responsibilities:
Participating in Prime/Reserve cycle countsMaintaining chase area, including cycle countConducting investigations for missing stockIdentifying and logging damaged productsRemoving and logging short dated itemsPutaway of productTaskingQualifications:
1-2 years experience preferredAbility to operate warehouse PIT equipment – Order Selector preferredComfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularlyRadio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferredAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shiftMust be able to work overtime with little to no advance noticeAptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standardsFlexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skillsWhat is expected of you and others at this level:
