What Business Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Business Analysis serves as a liaison between the organization's businesses and IT systems development teams to align business strategies and capability needs and to ensure IT systems enable their desired value. This job family identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and makes recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies. This job family researches and documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices) and translates business requirements into application requirements.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the business and IT teams to design Mapping Implementation Guides
Configure new trading partners in GXS AI and Enterprise Gateway applications
Setup communication links with trading partners such as AS2 and SFTP
Perform testing with new and existing trading partners
Works closely with internal and external customers
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Provide documentation for new and existing EDI processes
Collaborate with the EDI Technology managed service team
Provide 24x7 on-call support of Production systems as required
Participate in SRTs and RCAs when appropriate.
Drive long term changes to processes and applications to reduce time spent on break/fix issues
Implement new trading partners to EDI as required by the business
Work on large EDI projects with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a EDI business analyst
Minimum of 2 years working with SAP ECC 6.0
Minimum of 2 years experience creating mapping implementation guides with software tools such as EDISIM
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to multi-task with emphasis on customer service and root cause analysis.
Good understanding of software development life cycle
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team oriented environment that includes Cardinal employees and consultants
