Position Summary
The Director, MSO Services for Physician Offices will lead expansion of MSO (managed care organization) offerings to new physician office therapeutic areas.
This position reports to the VP, Product & Solutions Marketing – Specialty Physician Office.
This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
Lead development of MSO services into new therapeutic areas Conduct business development efforts to secure anchor customers to form the new networkCollaborate with sales teams on recruiting initial anchor customersAttend and support therapeutic area professional meetingsSupport GPO in obtaining GPO contracts for new therapeutic areasBased on customer needs and business objectives, develop and execute plan to extend MSO services to new therapeutic areasFrom MSO and Cardinal Health capabilities, define which services will be offered, and how they will be staffedIdentify gaps in CAH and MSO capabilities and determine plan to close gaps (build/buy/partner)Define commercial agreements to provide the service, pricing models, business caseDevelop commercialization planCoordinate with other stakeholders (marketing, finance, legal, tech, sales)Measure results and KPI dashboardsProvide oversight to revenue cycle management optimization solutions delivery team, as part of the MSO servicesParticipates in 3rd party and Cardinal Health conferences, delivers messaging, and interacts with keycustomers and top opinion leadersLeads employees, develops talent, makes hiring decisions, and determines promotionsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree and Advanced degree preferred12+ years of related experience preferredUnderstanding and experience with full scope physician office functions included but not limited to: front office, back office, credentialing, payor contracting, legal and regulatory complianceTeam leadership experienceTravel up to 50%Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
