The Director, Channel Development Strategy- Diabetes for Cardinal Health’s at-Home Solutions is responsible for providing enhanced relationship management for suppliers that translates into exceptional customer service and commercial growth while maximizing the supply chain, negotiation of distribution and preferred product agreements. This role will promote company products and services to Distributor sales resources and works to gain access to new customers.
Responsibilities
Leads sourcing negotiations and full portfolio management for diabetes technologies, supplies and other categories of products as assigned across DTC and B2B landscapes in pharmacy, DME and cash pay channels.Leads team of business development managers and directly manages key strategic manufacturer accounts and partnerships.Combines creative thinking and market expertise to identify opportunities along the entire continuum of care to drive commercial growth both in direct to consumer DME and pharmacy channels, as well as wholesale channel.Works internally and externally to identify, close and implement opportunities to drive growth while bringing mutual value to stakeholders.Makes decisions that have a short and long term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers for at-Home Solutions, in addition to broader Cardinal Health enterprise.Management of strategic operational and commercial development of sales channels, including new categories of business aligned with business strategy.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.8+ years of experience, preferably including relevant work within manufacturing and/or distribution healthcare sectors, preferred.Deep familiarity with diabetes technologies (Insulin delivery and glucose monitoring are a must) and metabolic health landscape.Deep understanding of both pharmacy and DME value and supply chains across public and private sectors, specifically including Medicare DMEPOS reimbursement landscape.Comprehensive communication and negotiating skills adept at all levels of C-suite provider leadership (Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Clinical -Pharmacy).Proven leadership capabilities, including ability to manage diverse personalities/skill sets in a changing environment.Full P&L comprehension.Significant commercial experience managing large partnerships or key accounts.Ability to travel up to 25% nationwide.Anticipated salary range:$130,700 - $201,000
