What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

35 hours per week. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday from 3am – 10am. The start time can vary a little bit depending on needs (3am - 5am)Will be part of holiday schedule rotation (approximately 1/year)Will be part of on-call rotation (approximately 1 week of on-call every 11 weeks. On-call schedule is Monday-Friday 12pm-12am). Must be flexible to work different days, hours, and schedules based on business needs. Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation Processes packages returned from customer locationsMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as required Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicleMust hold a valid driver's license (Class E Missouri driver’s license or equivalent preferred, or able to obtain)Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hoursAbility to lift and manage up to 75 poundsAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of timeAbility to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotationComfortable working in a nuclear environmentAbility to use computers and tabletsStrong customer service and communication skillsPrior delivery driving experience a plusHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredBasic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.May require vendor credentialing Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programs
