Shift/Schedule
Two positions are available: Position #1: 40 hours per week. Saturday – Wednesday 2:30 am – 10:30 am. Holiday and on call work as needed.Position #2: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 2:30 am – 10:30 am. Weekend, holiday and on call work as needed.Candidates must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.
What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation Processes packages returned from customer locationsMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as requiredMay act as a back-up dispatcher as needed High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred1-2 years of experience preferredMinimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicleMust hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving recordPrior delivery driving experience a plusAbility to lift containers weighing up to 80 poundsComfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hoursAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of timeStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work weekends or be in a weekend rotation Ability to work holidays or be in a holiday rotation Ability to work on call or be in an on call rotation Flexibility to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.Ability to use computers and tablets 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccineWhat is expected of you and others at this level?
