Fuse @ Cardinal Health is looking for a highly driven Data Engineer to collaborate with an innovative, friendly cross-functional team to help tackle these fascinating and challenging problems using new analytical and machine learning tools. We’re seeking people who are adept at building data pipelines that can source, clean, and normalize data at scale and who’ve got the enthusiasm and initiative necessary to deliver solutions at a fast pace.
Responsibilities
Stitch and normalize sparse and noisy data across various data sources.Undertake the preprocessing of structured and unstructured dataDesign, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.Work with a team of developers with deep experience in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systemsUtilize programming languages like Python, Java, and Open Source RDBMS and cloud-based data warehousing services such as Aurora or Big QueryShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering communityCollaborate with engineering and product development teamsDeliver on timeline commitments where necessaryBuild trust and strong relationships at all levelsDesirable Qualities:

Required
Must have designed, developed, and supported a complex software solution.Proficient in SQL.Proficient in dimensional/multidimensional data modeling.Experience with graph, transactional, and operational data modeling is a plus.Familiarity with all stages of the product development cycle. Experience maintaining engineering best practices, including defect tracking, design reviews, and appropriate testing.Hold strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Take a pragmatic, product-oriented approach.Possess the ability to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.Preferred
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or similar quantitative fields/work experience.Experience with cloud environments7+ years of experience in application or data warehousing development7+ years of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript, Shell)4+ years of experience working on streaming data applications5+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices5+ years of experience developing Java-based software solutions, scripting and OOP languages5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting4+ years of experience with GCP4+ years of experience with Ansible / Terraform3+ years in the healthcare industry and knowledge of their business practices.Anticipated salary range: $115k-$164k
