What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health:
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.
Responsibilities
Create data visualizations for category and sourcing managers to drive category profitability proactively and on-demandCollaborate with cross functional teams to identify and aggregate financial, market, and product data for analysisApplies advanced knowledge and understanding of data analytics concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projectsServe as the liaison and functional SME for the Portfolio Management team for new technologies and applications as neededSupport Vendor Performance Management Program with performance analytics and Vendor Scorecard functionality as neededQualifications
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred4-8 years experience preferred2+ years SQL experience preferredTableau experience preferredAlteryx experience preferredProduct category or sourcing experience a plusWhat is expected of you and others at this level
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projectsMay contribute to the development of policies and proceduresWorks on complex projects of large scopeDevelops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
