What Data Analytics brings to Cardinal Health:
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Analytics applies business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant and actionable insights to support business decisions and objectives.
Responsibilities
Works with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, goals, or objectivesDetermines if objectives can be met using an analytical approach and develops hypothesis.Identifies key data requirements and acquires dataHarmonizes, rescales, and cleans data for statistical techniquesApplies data visualization techniques to evaluate data for model specification etc.Builds custom quantitative models by applying advanced statistical methods such as causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization.Demonstrates the ability to perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and determines need for reformulation.Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends, and issues, and develops alternatives to support business objectives.Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences and mediums.Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize models into day-to-day business decision making.Demonstrates the ability to develop and lead changes of policies, procedures, and processes.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience4-8 years experience in related field preferredPharmaceutical or medical experience preferredHealthcare knowledge preferredPatient hub experience strongly preferredWhat is expected of you and others at this level
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projectsMay contribute to the development of policies and proceduresWorks on complex projects of large scopeDevelops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectivesCompletes work independently receives general guidance on new projectsWork reviewed for purpose of meeting objectivesMay act as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesTRAINING AND WORK SCHEDULES: Your new hire training will take place 8:00am-5:00pm CST, mandatory attendance is required.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 7:00am- 7:00pm CST.
REMOTE DETAILS: You will work remotely, full-time. It will require a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet.
