What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health:

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems; supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes; and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

What is expected of you and others at this level:

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of universally accepted Supply planning and Supplier collaboration and applicable SOPs.Independently analyzes Supplier Performance, interprets trends and initiates needed changes.Creates, approves and implements SOPs as it pertains to Cardinal Brand Supply PlanningApplies theories to optimize supply planning, purchasing and inventory systems.Uses data mining and analysis tools; provides analysis and recommendations based on results.Recommends and implements solutions to optimize inventory investment and maximize customer satisfaction.Involved in project management activities and process grow Cardinal Brand within the At Home SegmentWorks to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller pieces.Collaborates with others and builds strategic alliances globally; negotiates to build broad-based support and/or persuades others in order to influence important outcomes.Ensures that customers have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed customer expectations.Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and products; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness.Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified.

Accountabilities in this role:

Process daily usage and review forecasting for At Home Cardinal Brand Supply PlanningLead collaboration across teams for Cardinal BrandAnalysis for the region and identification of supply/demand patterns.Creation/Improvement/Automation of proactive reports to identify issues within the DC and/or region.Analysis of current inventory across the network to identify opportunities for transfers.Serve as a corporate point of contact to the DCs.Lead collaboration across teams internally and externally.Strive to understand others' opinions and build agreement among team members; utilize others' ideas and suggestions to shape solutions.Identify data requirements, often beyond the standard, and collects all relevant data needed to analyze a complex problem, situation or issue.Demonstrate a commitment to meeting service expectations or fulfilling service agreements; consistently meets customers' needs.Work independently to identify current service level issues and determines the best sources of data for pinpointing the problem; effectively lead the coordination and resolution of those issues.Responsible for meeting service level and DIOH targets.Create and maintain SOP's.Relay critical information for customer communications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.5+ years’ experience preferredExperience with Cardinal Brand planning preferredStrong Access and Excel skills with an emphasis on creating databases and writing queries.Strong Business Objects skills, experience with Tableau  is a plus.Previous supply chain experience.Previous experience using data warehouse inventory management systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong presentation and communication  skills.

Anticipated salary range: $65,500 - $93,500
