What Customer Strategy and Proposals contributes to Cardinal Health

As a Consultant within the Customer Strategy and Proposals Team (part of the Customer Lifecycle Management Team in Commercial Enablement) you will be responsible for leading the RFP process, collaborating with the sales team and functional business units to develop the most compelling and impactful response.


Support early renewal/customized competitive bid process

Lead strategy meeting to discuss critical success factors to win 

Compile responses working with key participants, subject matter experts, and technical experts  

Partner with customer marketing in support of customer facing communications

Drive accountability across the organization to achieve key milestone

Consolidate responses, review and prepare final draft and attachments for submission  


Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

3-5 years experience in related field, preferred

RFP Management coordination, preferred

Experience compiling and coordinating proposals, preferred

Strong analytical and organizational skills

The ability to gather feedback, display a sense of urgency, make recommendations, and follow through to deliver timely solutions

The capacity to work in a team environment and manage projects accordingly

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines

Aptitude to implement improvements

A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either:

2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine

1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Anticipated salary range: $72,900.00 - 104,200.00
