Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Management, the Advisor, Pricing Strategy will be accountable for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of pricing strategies in sync with the business / category strategy and customer profitability through pricing and value-capturing activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. You will leverage analytics, pricing concepts and principles, and technology to manage a wide variety of pricing initiatives and margin improvement projects. You will serve as an effective liaison with Executive management, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Sales, and IT teams.
Responsibilities
Providing market pricing intelligence, pricing analytics and pricing recommendations to the Marketing and Sales teams.Understanding Product and Category strategy, financial objectives, and Pricing expectations. Managing the execution of a wide variety of price realization initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business opportunities.Data analysis and financial modeling, applying analytics and data visuals to extract insights and effectively draw applicable recommendations.Collaborating effectively across functions in Marketing, Sales, FP&A, and within the US based Revenue Management organization to design, execute and/or enhance processes and tools.Communicating key pricing insights across the organization, while being comfortable when challengedAbility to grasp economic concepts, commercial processes, systems, and controls.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/math/analytics preferred, or equivalent work experience4+ years’ experience in Pricing Strategy, FP&A, or any Analytical / Strategic role preferredData management / manipulation / visualization skills – Advanced Excel required, SQL or Tableau will be a plus.What is expected of you and others at this level
