Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.

What Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions Support contributes to Cardinal Health

The PET Optimization Team Advisor will play a key role as a Subject Matter Expert by providing network-wide support to complex manufacturing and analytical processes related to the synthesis of radioactive tracers. The chemistry advisor will also assist in writing and maintaining technical SOP’s, and lead or assist on several different projects of varying complexity throughout the PET network.

Position will travel typically 2-3 weeks per month. Other time will be remote work or locally at home site. 

Responsibilities

Acts as the chemistry subject matter expert to assist in troubleshooting of analytical or manufacturing issues during regular production hoursAssists in chemistry-related non-conformance investigations and the creation of effective CAPA’sMay serve as Impact Assessor for technical review during Change Control for manufacturingSupports key projects leading or assisting with activities including but not limited to: Technology and Method TransfersEquipment ValidationProcess ValidationProcess DevelopmentActs as a document owner to relevant proceduresParticipates in strategic discussions for how to address certain problems within the businessUtilizes influential leadership to lead and/or direct project teamsEffectively conducts cross-functional communication to ensure goals are metPerforms other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred4-8 years of experience preferredPast experience in PET (positron emission tomography) as a qualified PET Technician or Quality Assurance Specialist highly preferredAuthorized user of radioactivity highly preferredPossesses strong understanding of various forms of analytical chromatographyComprehensive operational knowledge of different analytical equipment and automated synthesis platformsDemonstrated ability form strong partnerships with various groups including quality, operations, engineering, technical operations, purchasing, validations, project management, IT, pharmacy, and training teamsStrong interpersonal skills including: listening skills, written and verbal communication skills and be able to tailor communication to all employees in all parts of the businessMust be a self-starter, well-organized and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to travel 2 to 3 weeks per month as needed

Anticipated salary range: $65,500-$93,500
