What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Job Summary

Reports to Manager, FP&A, Pharma segment with high visibility and engagement with the Segment FP&A and Pharma Finance teams.Works closely with Pharma Leadership team and Cost Center owners across the Pharma segmentProvides financial support for the reporting of USPD Commercial and Pharma Functional SG&A and Capital reporting including the development of new business cases to support strategic investments and business initiatives.Provides financial support for PD Marketing services for the Pharma segment

Responsibilities

Supports key planning and reporting processes (Monthly results reviews, Forecasts, SFP, AOP, Earnings)Develops and supports real time updates on performance, implications, and recommended actionsSupports the preparation of materials for the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors, including providing financial analysis and commentary.Employs a process improvement mindset to deliver efficiencies across work areasServes as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company's assets.  Ensures strong controls are in place and the company's intellectual property is protected

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a finance function, preferred. At least 2+ years in FP&A roles, a leadership position and preferably in a large complex organization, preferredBachelor’s degree, MBA, strongly preferredHealthcare industry experience, preferredHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferred
