What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Responsibilities
Support Medical Segment executive and business unit leadership team strategic initiatives and questions through financial models leveraging technical and non-technical solutions.
Serve as product owner to existing models and solutions built for existing business questions including cost-to-serve, price volume mix, and others.
Partner cross-functionally on complex projects to deliver on defined initiatives.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience preferred
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree may be required
Technical skills (Alteryx, Tableau, Excel reporting, Excel modelling, etc.) preferred
Financial acumen (P&L, Balance Sheet), business acumen, cross-functional busienss partnering and problem solving

May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
