What Data Management & Governance brings to Cardinal Health:
The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.
Data Management and Governance provides direction of data assets and is responsible for data strategy, quality, standards and service levels. Data management acquires, validates, standardizes, enriches, protects and publishes structured, third party and unstructured data for use by the business. Governance defines and implements policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective and efficient use of trusted data and statistical models to support regulatory and business goals.
Role Responsibilities
Perform Data Steward activities for Supplier Master Data and Product Master Data domains; manage data content, data quality, and data integrity to support business definitions and governance policiesParticipate in process improvement exercises for the data managementIdentify data governance gaps and work cross-functionally to close themManage and execute all product master data audit programs; employ process improvement disciplines to increase efficiency of existing practicesServe as the at-Home Solutions subject matter expert (SME) for all data governance concerns for Supplier Master Data and Product Master Data domainsCoordinate with enterprise Data Management and Governance representatives to align team data governance policies with enterprise policiesFacilitate the resolution of business data issues through analysis and reporting of master dataSupport the communication and enforcement of business data policiesRecommend and manage ERP enhancements to domain-relevant ERP modules in collaboration with Enterprise IT and Data Governance partnersQualifications
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred4-8 years experience preferredOracle experience preferredAlteryx experience preferredCollibra DG/DQ experience a plusWhat is expected of you and others at this level
