What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
What our team specifically does
The Anaplan team supports the finance organization by developing and maintaining advanced planning solutions in Anaplan. The team is also responsible for implementing standards and best practices for Anaplan development, providing BAU support for Anaplan models, training Anaplan users and resources at Cardinal Health.
**This position will be remote** if in Ohio - able to come in for moments that matter.
Responsibilities:
Partner with multiple FP&A and other planning teams to help develop complex planning solutionsScrutinize discrepancies, as inquisitive questions, and facilitate conversations with business stakeholders leading to solutions and process optimization opportunitiesWork with multiple Anaplan project implementation teams to support Development, Testing and Production Push effortsHelp develop technical model documentation and end user training materialProvide BAU support for post-production modelsLog and categorize end user requests (tickets), assist with ticket resolution and push model changes to productionAttend daily scrum calls and workshops as neededQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, and/or Data Sciences (preferred)2+ years of professional experience with a multinational corporation and/or a professional services firm focusing on business solutions, FP&A or digital/technology enablement (preferred)Experience with enterprise performance management, digital transformation, enabling big data / cloud based analytics strategies (preferred)Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive changeTeam player who possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills, has experience building financial models and enjoys solving and streamlining complex business problemsEnjoys detailed and challenging puzzles, thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and possesses the aptitude to work independentlyExperience with Agile or Anaplan WayExperience working with SaaS solutions connected to a variety of different systems and platformsExcellent communication skills with the ability to switch contexts between highly technical and business-focused topics quickly and easilySomeone that embraces diversity, and values people not just for what they do but who they areActively foster an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to workWhat is expected of you and others at this level
Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into Anaplan modelsMaintain existing Anaplan models with a focus on continuous improvement, incorporating new functionality and fixing issues in production to support business objectives and initiativesAdhere to model development best practices and design standards in placeWrite model documentation to capture requirements, design solutions, deployment and run state activitiesParticipate in data integration efforts between internal systems and AnaplanMonitor and validate data flows to and from Anaplan platformParticipate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment with project teamProvide hands-on training to end users to facilitate adoption of the Anaplan modelUtilize and share Anaplan model building best practicesThe Department of Labor requires all employers to provide the following information for all positions that could be performed in NY, CA, CO
